Panama Bold w/ Cushion (Floor Model)

Panama Bold is one of Baxter best-selling iconic pieces. Its design goes beyond the traditional sofas and recalls a placement conceived in open and wide spaces. It consists of a soft and extremely comfortable modular ottoman sofa and a repositionable pillow with inner counterweight balancing, that serves as an armrest or a back cushion.

Our Panama Bold showroom models are upholstered in Kashmir Emeraude leather. To create a Kashmir leather, Baxter starts from whole bull best raw hides in the world that first undergo a vegetable white tanning and then are dyed with seeping aniline. As the last step in the process, the leathers are air dried. The leather stands out from the industrial production from the tanning phase, since it's completely chrome-less. At the same time, it goes beyond the limitations of the vegetable tanning, giving a far softer leather, with a fascinating touch.

Fir and poplar seat frame. Feet in semi-gloss black-stained beech. Padding in differentiated density polyurethane foam and washed and sterilized goose down. Springing with woven elastic straps of covered rubber. Back and armrest cushion with padding in washed and sterilized goose down with differentiated density polyurethane foam inserts. It contains a counterweight for balancing which allows it to be used both as armrest and as backrest in different positions. Leather upholstery with sharp edge stitching.
