Creativity and technological innovation come together in this luminous sculpture built with a two-millimeter-thick wooden material, laser engraved and bent like an origami thanks to a complex technological process patented by Horm. The LED light, filtering through the holes of the structure, reproduces in the surrounding environment unique shadows that allow Steven Holl to give the same emotion that is breathed in his architecture, with a simple leap of scale.
Ceiling lamp with lampshade made of a material created and patented by Horm, a walnut wood-fabric sandwich 2.2 mm thick which, thanks to a number of superficial incisions made by laser, can be folded like origami. Solid walnut wood frame. Mounting on the ceiling with steel plate and adjustable steel wires.
Lighting
The ceiling lamp has two separate electrical circuits that power two light bulbs to be mounted in the top half and six warm light LEDs installed in the bottom half. The light bulbs emit light downwards while the LEDs emit light at the sides through the laser-cut holes in the lampshade to create an effect of light and shadow on the ceiling and walls.
Light bulbs not included. We recommend the use of two compact fluorescent light bulbs 30W MAX or LED bulbs with E27 connector.
