Trays from the Acqua collection. The two-ply leather is soaked, hand-shaped, and dried at room temperature. The object is finished with no stitching. The idea is that of a palm leaf that detaches, falls, and curls up.
The two-ply leather allows the choice of different colors for the inside and the outside, with single or two-color solutions.
Leaf trays are made from the “fiore”, the exterior and most precious part of the leather (full grain leather) of Tuscany skins only.
The leather is treated with tallow (a fat of animal origin) and with tannin extracted from the bark and trunk of several plants (mimosa, chestnut, etc; this is why is called "vegetable tanning"). Age-old methods attesting the high quality of completely natural material (without chemical treatments).
