A true work of art, it consists of an aluminum frame and five storage units made of origami-folded 2-mm wooden sheets thanks to a complex and patented technological process. Riddled Buffet conveys great charm and elegance through its sculptural volumes, already characterized by the typical perforated texture of many famous works by Steven Holl. The result is a faceted container, light and bright like a diamond but made of wood following Horm's unmistakable style.
The Riddled Buffet is made up of five different containers equipped with opening doors with magnetic closure, made of a material created and patented by Horm consisting of a sandwich of ebony veneer and fabric that, thanks to the surface engravings made by laser cutting, is folded like origami. The containers are joined together by painted aluminum panels.
