Barbara Fenix Dining Table

Made in Italy. 

The table, presented in 2018, is freely inspired by the works of the English sculptress Jocelyn Barbara Hepworth (1903-1975), and her incessant study of the relationship between man, the natural environment, and materials. After more than a year of research to overcome technical limitations, the new top finish in Fenix NTA® Cortez Gold finally sees the light of day.

Base in moulded concrete. A transparent protective paint is applied to the external surface, while the surface of the hole is black matte varnished. The protective treatment deliberately leaves visible the natural porosity of the material, and the lack of uniformity of color. The top is available in Cortez gold inlaid Fenix NTA®. This material with fantastic properties, made by the Italian company Arpa, is processed in an innovative way by Horm, transforming an extremely technical material into a very decorative surface.
